There are a wide variety of restaurants in Prague including sushi bars, Thai, Indian, Arabian and many other international flavours so you are most likely to find something to suit your mood. If you are looking for something truly Czech you won´t be disappointed either.
At the cheaper end of the price range is the Czech pub, a wonderful but often smokey place (but nowadays many of them are smoke- free during lunchtime). To eat in true Czech style this is the place to eat your Czech meal of garlic soup followed by Pork, dumplings and pickled cabbage or try the fried cheese with fries. On the other hand, a good Czech restaurant can offer a wonderful evening of fine dining with a wider variety of dishes than in the pub which might include typical Czech dishes including rabbit, duck or sometimes even wild boar. Restaurants also offer a different atmosphere to the pub and some even have a view over the red rooftops, which of course, will be reflected in the slightly higher prices.
