Prague is often called the city of a thousand spires – when you have a look at the skyline you will understand why. Some of the such as St Vitus Cathedral or St George Basilica belong among the most famous and beautiful churches in the world. Most churches in Prague are open as they are used for masses, and also thanks to the wonderful acoustics they are on regular basis used for classical musical concerts.
