Café Slavia is well-known café in the Prague city centre right by the Vltava river, across the street from the National Theatre. It is a place with a long tradition and history.
On the menu there are both traditional Czech and international cuisine as well as a wide variety of salads, fish and meat specialities. You can also enjoy your breakfast here.
What makes this place so special though is first its location, it is situated right by the National Theatre by the Vltava river so you can enjoy the amazing view of Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or the boats cruising the river.
Second, it has always been a place where famous people and intellectuals would meet, among others Jaroslav Seifert, the Nobel Prize winning Czech writer, or Václav Havel, the first prezident of the Czech Republic.
